Below are our senior portrait collections to help you get an idea of what to budget. Most of our senior clients go with the graduate session and then add on if needed. The way our pricing works is, you choose the option that works for you and the total investment price is what you pay (plus tax) and the produt credit is credit you have to put towards your portrait products. In other words, if you select the Graduate collection, your investment will be $795 and you will have $600 to put towards any prints, portraits, frames, digital files etc that you want to purchase. We go over the details on our products & pricing when you come in for the initial consultation, so that you can see examples and we can explain all the product details and options. Helpful Info & Tips for Your Session

Senior portraits are one of the most important photo shoots of your life, so it’s important to take some time to prepare for them. By following a few basic tips and suggestions you’ll be on track for some great portraits that capture this unique and important time in your life!

 Clothing

  • Bring several of your favorite outfits! Something dressy, something casual. Long sleeves and solid colors look best in portraits. If you’re not sure, just bring it. It’s better to have options.
  • Try to avoid large patterns and logos so that we draw the viewer’s attention to your face.
  • Colors that are similar in tone with the background or setting that you’re being photographed in create color & tone harmony in the image and again, draw the viewer to your face. Also, be sure your clothes are ironed and on hangars, not stuffed in a gym bag (guys).
  • Complete your outfits with matching shoes, socks and accessories like jewelry or hats, but keep accessories subtle if possible so they don’t dominate the image.
  • If you have sports uniforms etc., bring those. In fact, any props (from hobbies, sports etc.) that help tell the story of you, should be included.

 Girls

  • Style your hair before you come to the session. Choose a style you feel comfortable in, and bring a comb or brush for last-minute fixes. We don’t suggest trying a new style just before your session, in case it doesn’t turn out well.
  • Bring your make-up along for touch-ups. We will custom edit and retouch, but it’s always best to take a little time and get it right in person.
  • Make sure to get a good night’s sleep before your shoot so you don’t look or feel tired.

 Guys

  • Get your haircut a week or so before so that it has time to grow back to a normal length and so you don’t show tan lines etc.
  • Style your hair before you come to the session. Choose a style you feel comfortable in, and bring a comb or brush for last-minute fixes.
  • Trim your nails and get a fresh shave, especially if mom likes you clean shaven.
  • Make sure to get a good night’s sleep before your shoot so you don’t look or feel tired.

Remember, more people will see your senior portraits than just about any other portraits you ever have made, so it’s worth  a little extra time & preparation!
